I have been testing the Meade AutoStar Suite with my new LXD75 sn-10 telescope. Things are working very well. The network topology is thus:
* Attach the included 9-pin serial adapter to a serial port on the PC.
* Run the cable from that and plug it into the Autostar hand controller.
* The hand controller is plugged into the Telescope control panel.
After the telescope is aligned with North and calibrated, just click on a location within the map on the screen and select “slew telescope”, and the telescope automatically moves and brings the object into view. I am testing this out a little more before first light.
This stands out as the first time I’ve commented below and I must say you give genuine, and good quality information for bloggers! Fantastic position.
Nice store. 😉
Great post! I was really impressed by the quality of the resources. Thank you alot.
I wish more people would write blogs like this that are actually helpful to read. With all the crap floating around on the net, it is a great change of pace to read a blog like yours instead.
