Observing log 3/27/2011

Observing with the Meade LDX75-10. Very cold night: about 20Deg F. Clear. Usual light pollution. Perseus and Leo tonight. All images were taken using a focal reducer, bringing the focal length from f4 (1016mm) to f2. The next observing session will consist of the same targets at f4 without focal reduction to obtain higher magnification. The focal reducer is used to make it easier to find and target these objects.

1). Eskimo Nebula (NGC 2392, Caldwell 39) in Perseus. Can you determine which object it is?

NGC2903:

NGC2903 B&W:

NGC3222 in Leo:

NGC2683:
